Job Description
Do you take pride in crafting authentic, artisan-style pizza from scratch? This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your creativity and precision while growing your culinary career in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
The Day-to-Day
- Prepare authentic, handmade artisan pizzas while upholding O&B’s exceptional quality standards.
- Contribute to the development of innovative and creative pizza menu offerings for our guests.
- Support the Sous Chef, Chef, and/or General Manager with daily Food Hall operations.
- Follow established recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications.
- Apply the FIFO method to maintain freshness and reduce waste.
- Assist with food inventory management, receiving, and proper storage of deliveries.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to all food safety, sanitation, and health standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned or required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment; prior pizza-making or Italian cuisine experience is an asset.
- Strong understanding of dough preparation, stretching.
- Demonstrated commitment to quality, consistency, and presentation.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills with a positive, professional attitude.
- Ability to multi-task and work efficiently under pressure.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Culinary training or certification is an asset but not required — passion and skill are what matter most!
- Food Handlers and First Aid certified, preferred
- Available for daytime, evening shifts and Holidays as needed
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
