Job Description

  • Deliver exceptional cocktail craftsmanship paired with informed wine and beer service to create a memorable and engaging bar experience
  • Create a positive guest experience through genuine interaction and consistent adherence to established O&B steps of service
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of all food and beverage offerings in order to make informed recommendations
  • Accurately receive drink order chits and prepare all beverages in accordance with Oliver & Bonacini standards
  • Present beverages in a clear, organized, and timely manner at the service bar pickup area
  • Communicate beverage descriptions, features, and specials to both guests and team members
  • Set up and break down the bar area, including the dishwasher and cappuccino machine, ensuring cleanliness and proper operation
  • Stock, organize, and maintain all bar products, mise en place, and service tools
  • Monitor and maintain beer keg levels and liquor inventory throughout service
  • Assist with counting, inventorying, and ordering of beverages and bar supplies in collaboration with management
  • Remain attentive to special requests, including guest allergies and dietary considerations
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall bar and restaurant operations

Qualifications

  • Legally eligible to work in Canada
  • Valid Smart Serve Certified 
  • Minimum of 1 year of bartending experience in a comparable service environment
  • Strong knowledge of wine, beer, and cocktail preparation, with a focus on quality and consistency
  • Genuine passion for food, beverage, and delivering exceptional guest service
  • Proven ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Ability to remain standing for extended periods and safely lift and move beer kegs, liquor, and wine boxes
  • Reliable transportation to and from the workplace
