Located in Queen’s Marque district on the Halifax waterfront, The Fog Company will experiment with unexpected and Canadian-inspired flavours, and quirky and inventive toppings. Opening in spring 2023, The Fog Company is looking for friendly and energetic individuals who can help support the brand’s whimsical, feel-good spirit.

The Day to Day:

Under the direction of the Management Team, Key Employees perform supervisory duties in the restaurants. Including but not limited to:

  • Working on floor in management capacity – door, food run, speaking to guests
  • Liaise with guests
  • Opening and closing space-key holder
  • Responsible for completing opening and closing checklists
  • Organizing sections and floor plan
  • Station checks
  • Help with new hire training and orientation
  • Participate in manager meetings
  • Read daily logbook
  • Learn daily accounting practices
  • Read daily logbook
  • Learn daily accounting practices
  • Pass on any information to a manager during shift

Qualifications

  • supervisory or management experience in a restaurant environment
  • You have superior verbal and written communication skills
  • You demonstrate extreme organization in a fast paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a large and variable work load, ensuring timely and accurate completion of assigned work
