Job Description

The Libretto Restaurant Group - operators of Pizzeria Libretto & Enoteca Sociale - are currently searching for a restaurant manager. The restaurant manager will be responsible for helping the restaurant meet service goals and sales standards, while continually exceeding guest expectations.

  • Confidently and politely address elevated customer queries
  • Maintain good customer and public relations with guests, vendors, and suppliers
  • Maintain cleanliness and working condition of all equipment through personal inspection, following the restaurant’s preventative maintenance programs
  • Receive and keep an accurate record of deliveries in accordance with the restaurant’s receiving policies and procedures
  • Oversee restaurant opening and closing procedures, including completion of opening and closing checklists
  • Conduct recruitment and training of FOH staff
  • Create weekly employee schedules
  • Responsible for inventory, purchase orders and placing orders for all liquor, beer and small ware items
  • Ensure compliance with cash control procedures
  • Complete daily shift end reports and follow up at line up the next day

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to lead a team and be a motivational team player
  • Smart Serve certification required
  • Knowledgeable and passionate about wines, spirits and alcoholic beverages
  • Ability to work efficiently and consistently in a fast paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
  • Results-driven
  • Preferred 3-5 years experience in the hospitality industry
