Job Description

The Morning Dietary Aide assists with meal preparation, food service, kitchen sanitation, and resident dining support to ensure residents receive nutritious meals in a safe and welcoming environment.

Schedule

  • Morning Shift
  • Weekends and holidays as scheduled
  • Flexible scheduling available

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Prepare dining areas for breakfast and lunch service
  • Assist cooks with meal preparation and plating
  • Serve meals according to resident dietary requirements
  • Deliver trays and beverages to residents as needed
  • Assist residents with meal setup and dining support
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, dining rooms, and food preparation areas
  • Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
  • Follow food safety and infection control procedures
  • Properly store food and supplies
  • Assist with special events, holiday meals, and cultural food activities
  • Promote a positive dining experience for residents and guests

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • 2 Forms of Identification
  • Copy of Immunizations
  • Tribal ID (if claiming Indian Preference)
  • Food service experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry up to 40 pounds
  • Must pass background screening and comply with facility policies
