Job Description

Housekeepers play a key role in maintaining a clean, sanitary, and comfortable home for our residents. This position ensures all areas of the facility, including resident rooms, hallways, common areas, and workspaces, are cleaned according to established standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas.

  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and disinfect surfaces throughout the facility.

  • Restock supplies as needed.

  • Handle laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and delivering linens.

  • Follow infection control procedures and use cleaning chemicals safely.

  • Respect resident privacy and maintain a positive, friendly presence in their home.

  • Report maintenance or safety concerns to the supervisor promptly.

Qualifications

  • Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred but not required—we will train the right person.

  • High School Diploma

  • Ability to bend, lift, stand, and move for extended periods.

  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.

  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow cleaning guidelines.

  • Compassionate attitude and respect for elders and their living spaces.
