Oglala Sioux Lakota Nursing Home, Inc. (OSLNH) is a state-of-the-art, 60-bed long-term care facility with a 12-bed memory care unit, proudly managed by Native American Health Management (NAHM). Oversight of the facility is provided by a dedicated three-person Board of Directors.

Job Description
Housekeepers play a key role in maintaining a clean, sanitary, and comfortable home for our residents. This position ensures all areas of the facility, including resident rooms, hallways, common areas, and workspaces, are cleaned according to established standards.
Key Responsibilities
Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas.
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and disinfect surfaces throughout the facility.
Restock supplies as needed.
Handle laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and delivering linens.
Follow infection control procedures and use cleaning chemicals safely.
Respect resident privacy and maintain a positive, friendly presence in their home.
Report maintenance or safety concerns to the supervisor promptly.
Qualifications
Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred but not required—we will train the right person.
High School Diploma
Ability to bend, lift, stand, and move for extended periods.
Dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow cleaning guidelines.
Compassionate attitude and respect for elders and their living spaces.
