Job Description
- Performs tasks required to administer human resource programs including talent acquisition, onboarding/orientation, training/development, compensation/benefits/leaves, performance/talent management, disputes/investigations, employee discipline, recognition/morale, offboarding, and health and safety.
- HR consulting and coaching (e.g., working with business leaders to solve significant people and cultural issues, provides expertise in technical and regulatory aspects of employment including hiring, termination, performance management, rewards, etc.)
- Enabling business change (e.g., supporting the talent aspects of organization structure changes, talent integration related to mergers & acquisitions, etc.)
- HR program advocacy (e.g., communicating the business value of HR initiatives, managing HR program roll out to minimize business disruption, etc.)
- Partnering with the business and talent management/staffing and recruiting colleagues on key talent initiatives (e.g., workforce planning, hi-potential employee development, succession planning, etc.)
- Enable responsible dept to develop a diverse robust talent pipeline. Work with dept manager on employee developing, drive Competence Management, Development Landscape, Transfer & Promotion, and other HR program.
- Recruits temporary/permanent employees.
- Coordinates/facilitates learning activities in alignment with learning/development plans.
- Responds to human resources-related inquiries.
- Provides personnel policy guidance to employees/management; communicates policy changes, as required.
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of government employment laws and compliance requirements.
- Continuously improves procedures, processes, and practices along OPS standards.
- Ensures compliance with all applicable safety and environmental regulations.
- Performs other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of HR concepts, principals, and processes
- Strong business acumen
- Strong knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
- Proficiency with, or the ability to quickly learn, HRIS/talent management systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated, well organized, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to communicate effectively using excellent written and verbal skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
- Working knowledge of standard office productivity software (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work with the highest levels of integrity, compliance, and confidentiality.
Additional Information
- Bachelor-level degree in HR or other field supplemented with relevant experience.
- In-depth experience in at least one HR discipline (e.g., talent acquisition, onboarding orientation, training/development, compensation/benefits/leaves, performance/talent management, disputes/investigations, employee discipline, recognition/morale, offboarding, organizational development, and health and safety).
- Knowledge of local legal environment 3 years of experience working in HR.
- Above 7 years of experience working in HR.
- Performs employee counselling and investigations (i.e., labor relations) with limited support (up to and including termination/offboarding)
- Performs all HR processes with limited or no supervision.
- Business travelling may need with max up to 30%.
