Job Description

We are expanding our team in Gothenburg and are looking for a Supply Chain Analyst for our polymer business. You will be responsible for doing product cost calculations of new concepts and globally coordinating polymer quotations in close collaboration with Sales Operations. Furthermore, you will be in charge of preparing and evaluating quotations from suppliers and managing purchases. The role requires a close collaboration with multiple stakeholders in order to ensure a seamless integration of Supply Chain, Engineering and Sales Operations activities.

Responsibilities

  • Support in the identification, analysis and selection of new suppliers
  • Prepare requests for quotes (RFQs) to suppliers, obtain and analyze quotes, negotiate prices and place purchase orders for parts, tools and equipment
  • Calculate product cost of new concepts in close collaboration with Engineering
  • Collaborate closely with Sales Operations teams in different locations in the quotation process and globally coordinate and keep oversight of all polymer quotations
  • Support the order fulfillment process to ensure timely deliveries to customers
  • Support the introduction of new products by analyzing the material cost and flow of goods and evaluating the manufacturing process
  • Support the Sales & Operations Planning process by consolidating sales projections and calculating production capacity needs
  • Create procedures for inventory management and maintain inventory controls for all materials
  • Act as an advisor to Engineering, providing information and guidance on availability and cost of supplies and materials

Qualifications

  • Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field
  • 2+ years working experience from similar roles in a manufacturing industry, preferably automotive
  • Knowledge of plastic products and injection molding processes
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and best practices
  • Experience with quality standards such as IATF 16949 and ISO 9001
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to details
  • Fluent in English and Swedish, any other language is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience working in ERP systems, preferably SAP
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills with the ability to communicate and work effectively with stakeholders across different cultures and business functions
  • Self-motivated and a self-starter with hands-on skills
