Job Description

Position Summary

Is responsible for developing marketing and sales strategy for new product and implement it. Leading all activities related to business development for the OEM segments to achieve defined sales targets.  Make the customer executive level access in place and be committed to our joint value proposition.

Essential Functions

  • Business Development Strategy & Planning work identifies, evaluates and negotiates, new sales and marketing growth opportunities
  • Identifying and developing optimal revenue models, sales/distribution channels, pricing, and new product development strategies
  • Identifying and negotiating strategic partnerships including financial arrangements, customer sharing, and intellectual property rights
  • Prioritizing and tracking investments across new product development initiatives include strategic analysis, definition and implementation of applications
  • Support customer visits to introduce  products, identify current and future needs, roadmaps and drive customer engagement and development, build strategic relationships in an early phase of customer engagement
  • Support strategic market communication: technology roadshows at customers, industry exhibits, trade shows, conferences, campaigns
  • Fully understands strengths and limitations of relative products, effectively partners with customers in finding ways to meet their needs and to generate growth.
  • Enhance the Automotive OEMs coverage
    •   Build up and maintain relationship with key persons in each OEMs     
    • Follow OEM’s research trend and plan, production model plan and progress
    •   Execute “approach to OEM” strategy
    •  Promote Oetiker technologies to OEM through Workshop, Seminar
    •  Deliver related Oetiker 360 solution mentality to targeted OEMs
  • Cross- functional and business lines collaboration for product development and implementation of strategic initiatives

Knowledge Skills Abilities

  • Knowledge of business and management principles (e.g., tactical business approaches, resource allocation, leadership techniques, and coordination of people and resources)
  • Knowledge of internal support processes, quality management systems/principals, and how to apply them
  • Profound understanding of Oetiker products/applications/assembly solutions
  • Strong judgement and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to identify and solve complex problems
  • Ability to build lasting business relationships
  • Ability to work with the highest levels of integrity and compliance

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or master level degree in Marketing, Engineering, Manufacturing or other related field
  • 5+ years of Automotive industry experience (including OEM and Tier 1)  as sales or project manager
  • Experience of new Automotive OEM applications, like Hydrogen fuel cell or electric vehicle is a plus.
  • Fluent English written & oral
  • Ability to work in an entrepreneurial environment and work collaboratively as part of a global go-to-market team
