Job Description

You will be responsible for managing and driving engineering activities to customize existing products and integrate them into systems of major Chinese E-mobility OEMs. This is an end-to-end responsibility from customer pain point identification to production in close collaboration with our global KAM teams. You will be reporting to the Head Customer System Engineering residing in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Responsibilities

  • Support sales as technical expert in interactions with customers (virtually and on site) and identify customer needs and pain points
  • Develop innovative polymer fluid system concepts, including 3D models, detailed drawings, mockups, pretotypes etc.
  • Provide system design support to advanced engineers of customers by doing CAD integration of our solutions into their systems
  • Coordinate samples/prototypes and manage all internal and external testing and validation activities for new polymer solutions
  • Plan and execute further research and development activities in close cooperation with the Polymer Center of Competence in Gothenburg, Sweden

Qualifications

  • Degree in mechanical engineering
  • 5+ years working experience as a project engineer in an automotive environment
  • Professional experience in the development and design of plastic parts
  • Excellent knowledge of CAD (preferably SolidWorks)
  • Experience in quality systems such as APQP and IATF 16949
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to develop strong client relationships and to explain complex technical issues/solutions in a simple and compelling way
  • Self-motivated and a self-starter with hands-on skills and a team-oriented attitude
  • Willingness to travel
