Oetiker is looking for an energetic person to drive the development and implementation of our sustainability goals. Reporting directly to Global Head of Sustainability, the Global Sustainability Specialist has a unique opportunity to influence the company’s sustainability strategy and to lead global programs to achieve short and long-term targets.

• Support for the development and publication of annual sustainability report according to GRI standards
• Oversee progress and support Group functions and individual production locations to plan and implement sustainability projects that contribute to global sustainability objectives
• Lead information and KPI gathering efforts and manage the company’s response to various ESG rating and assessment platforms (customer specific surveys, EcoVadis, CDP, etc.)
• Develop global training programs and communication to raise awareness of sustainability objectives and progress towards the targets

Graduate/ Post-graduate ideally in  Sustainability Management or Science/ Engineering/ Environmental Engineering/ Environmental Management/ MBA - Business Sustainability

3-6 years of relevant work experience

Passion for environment and sustainability, aptitude for finance or data management, self-motivated, agility for quick learning, strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels across the organization, independent working style and willingness to work in virtual teams, team spirit and global mindset

PowerPoint, solid understanding of Microsoft Excel and preferably Powe

Professional fluency in English.

Knowledge and experience with GHG accounting and ESG frameworks (GRI, CDP, TCFD, EU CSRD)

Ability to deliver effective training
