Job Description

• Manages one or more key accounts in these applications:

  • Passenger Vehicles
  • Residential HVAC

• Assumes global responsibility for the assigned key accounts.

  • Procurement/Maintenance of business with the KA within the APAC region and the communication of those activities to the global team to effectively and seamlessly conduct business with the KA in other regions.

• Defines strategy for assigned key accounts.

  • Determines potential applications for the key account that may adapt to quick connectors and develops the strategy for implemenatation on those applications.  In the case of an emobility or glycol cooling opportunity, identify and gather information regarding the application and approach the appropriate team to spearhead the activities.  Continue to work alongside the appropriate team whenever they are in communication with the KA.

• Defines long-term growth target by application per key account.

  • Determines applications within vehicle models (via the Playbook; Marketing Data) and the potential to serve those applications based on forecasting data and technolgy trends.

• Defines budgeting targets for key accounts.

  • Develops an appropriate sales budget based on achievable applications; vehicle volumes; and taking into consideration economic indicators.

• Develops business at key accounts according to targets.

  • Based on Playbook Data; budgeting; and communication with colleagues, develops inroads with the key account to execute a business plan that helps to achieve Oetiker targets,

• Drives activities to serve the needs of key accounts.

  • Manages all activities related to exisiting and future programs including, but not limited to design review meetings; quality issues; APQP; logistic issues; payment issues; invoicing; production issues; sales related activities; etc.

• Manages key account projects/programs.

• Manages key account contracts.

  • Responsible for reviewing and communicating the contract to the appropriate regional production facility. Determines capability and soundness of the contract with assistance from the regional production facility.

• Methodical knowledge of screening and mapping customer insights to internal stakeholders

• Market and technical knowledge/aptitude within the respective application portfolio

• Competence to lead projects

• Proficient in management processes including the use of sales pipelines

• Profound understanding of Oetiker products/applications/assembly solutions

• Competence to maintain thorough knowledge and understanding of material, components, processes utilized in the 

  manufacturing of the company products

• Competence to work with key stakeholders and global accounts

• Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal) in native language and English

• Knowledge of support processes, quality management systems/principals, intellectual property, and how to apply them
