Prepares automotive shipments (packaging, labeling & palletizing) accurately & efficiently, using customer requirements

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

· Knowledge of email, inventory, Process Manager and Syteline for shipping information required

· Attention to detail and ability to adapt to change is required

· Must be able to work with minimal supervision

· Able to communicate effectively

· · Basic Math skills

Education / Experience

· High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required

· 6 months to 1 years’ shipping experience required

· No industry experience required

Essential Functions

· Packages & labels automotive parts - wraps, ties, or places material in envelopes, boxes, or other containers

· Seals cartons, prints labels from a database & palletizes parts

· Stamps, types, or writes addresses on packaged materials

· Stages shipments - banding and/or shrink-wrapping pallets to be shipped, pushing/pulling  pallets

· Enters & send ASNs (Advanced Shipping Notifications) using EDI software

· Controls inventory - rotating pallets/cartons (oldest parts used first), verifies cycle counts

· Actively supports continuous improvement within Logistic Department

Hours:

  • This is a 1st Shift full-time position with regular hours starting at 6:00am and ending at 2:30pm, M-F (40 hours/week).
