Position Summary

Responsible for meeting activities to meet the requirements of safety, quality and production in a manufacturing environment across 3 shifts.

Essential Functions

• Establish and support a culture of Safety First, Zero Defects and Continuous Improvement (OPS)
• Uphold and lead by example Oetiker Values and Code of Conduct
• Develop objectives and plans taking into account budgets, capacity and resources
• Drive corrective actions when performance objectives are not meant
• Work jointly with other functions to ensure smooth operations

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

• Strong ability to lead and motivate people
• Experience in evaluating performance and taking corrective action
• Think analytically and execute strategy
• Communicate clearly verbally and in writing
• Manage time effectively
• Knowledge of IATF16949 and the automotive industry requirements preferred
• Computer Skills, including MS Office and ERP systems
• Human relation skills; ability lead or be a member of a team

Education/Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Technical or Business field
• 5-10+ years leadership in a high volume manufacturing environment
