Reads, understands and commits to operating the machine and its functions according to the procedure

Operates all wash systems in the plant

Wash assigned parts in parts washer according to production schedule

Insures parts are cleaned and not damaged as required (visual inspection)

Reports discrepancies to the Supervisor

Move inspected/washed parts to appropriate stock locations

Package parts for shipping according to specific instructions

Stamp “washed” on one label per carton

Stamps bar-stock and moves material to the Screw Machines

Complete proper documentation at all levels of job such as shipping labels, OPD & Pareto  Charts

Maintain general housekeeping tasks, including shared duty of emptying trash containers throughout the plant

Upon completion of certification, operates forklift

Performs other tasks as required by the Supervisor

Qualifications

High School diploma/GED, a minimum of 1 years’ experience in a manufacturing role

Previous experience with minor troubleshooting at an operator level (ex. warm up, operation) is preferred

Additional Information

Hours:

  • This is a 3rd Shift (Overnight) full-time position with regular hours starting at 10:00pm and ending at 6:30am, M-F (40 hours/week).
