Position Summary
Responsible for shipping, receiving and storing all items from suppliers and properly distributing those items throughout the facility based on internal or external customer requirements.
Essential Functions
- Safely removing product off of shippers vehicles
- Verifying packing slips vs actual product received
- Accurately notifying Management of damaged goods prior to delivery service leaving and marking Bill of Lading appropriately
- Assist manufacturing associates in obtaining components for production
- Stock shelves with components and raw goods throughout shift
- Send parts out to be plated
- Assist in moving incoming material to proper stock location and rotate stock
- Pull packing slips off cartons and deliver received goods to appropriate person/department
- Use fork lift to load and unload trucks including bar stock & pallets
- Help band and wrap pallets
- Coordinates with waste and process chip vendors and prepares shipments for pick up
- Verify job orders with production that has been entered into Syteline and correct discrepancies
- Prepare replenishment for QC Assembly
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of MS Outlook/Excel, Syteline software, forklift, Standup, Scissor lift, and Electric hand jack
- Prior knowledge of scan guns use and inventory control.
Education / Experience
- High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and a minimum of 2 years’ shipping experience required
- Forklift experience is strongly preferred
Additional Information
Hours:
- This is a 1st Shift (Day) full-time position with regular hours starting at 6:00am and ending at 2:30pm, M-F (40 hours/week).
