Job Description

·         To assist responsibility in terms of management of staff, management of production and quality targets and to assist the smooth running of the production processes in line with the company’s quality systems, processes, and procedures.

·         To ensure that the training skills are met for current & future demands of production software systems and users. To Take an active role in software systems (MES, ERP, etc..) development & adoption across production processes.

·         Method study & analysis of manufacturing process using MOST technique. Analysis of processes for NVA and its reduction. Ergonomic and productivity improvement by KAIZEN and 5S. Knowledge and hands on experience of OEE.

·         Have practicing knowledge of Lean manufacturing Tools such as 5S, TPM, SMED, Poka-yoke, Kanban, JIT, 7 QC tools, 8D, problem solving and trouble shooting skills to ensure that all team members can identify root causes and take fast effective action to resolve the problems.

·         Assist in production operations to drive improvement in manufacturing efficiencies by utilizing continuous improvement techniques. Be responsible for managing and leading continuous improvement projects. Apply Lean Manufacturing tools and methodology throughout the manufacturing facility and processes. Maintain KPI targets in line with business strategy. Assist in setting annual operational targets and drive improvements to achieve those targets.

Qualifications

·         B.E. / B.Tech. Mechanical with 1-3 Years of experience in equivalent field.

Additional Information

·         Self-motivated and result driven professional having worked in a high mass volume manufacturing environment as a Shift Supervisor or within an equivalent capacity. Ideally from an automotive background.

·         Ability to work effectively across function, extensive experience leading cross-functional teams.

·         Clear thinker, able to analyze and resolve complex problems.

·         Good oral and written communication skills demonstrated interpersonal

·         Advance skills in MS office, ERP, MES exposure.
