 Position Summary

Source and purchase the best equipment, raw materials, tools , services, etc in terms of best value, quality and delivery schedule.

KPIs for this position：

·       Company HSE/5S goals

·       Supplier OTD (%)

·       Cost Reduction – MRP & MRO item (PPV)

·       Payment Term (DPO)

·       Spare Parts Inventory decrease (DIO)

Essential Functions

·       Initiate screening and qualification process of new suppliers

·       Lead purchasing project.

·       Secure RFQ, analyze and negotiate with suppliers, review and finalize with team as per company policy on               time.

·       Release purchase order and track supplier on time delivery.

·       Evaluate supplier from Quality, Delivery (Leadtime, MOQ, MDQ), Cost, Payment Terms, Service and Risk                   perspective

·       Supplier performance and relationship management.

·       Support to decrease spare parts inventory.

·       Drive cost and lead-time reduction programs while improving supplier quality and delivery performance

·       Keep updating on the competitiveness of current and potential suppliers.

·       Support to resolve supplier related issues

·       Drive the process improvement for all purchasing related.

·       Support APQP team and special projects

·       Other assignments from manager.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

·     Strong sourcing experiences in mechanical, tooling parts and indirect stuff (capital equipment, MRO, etc)

·     Strong experience in Manufacturing, technical knowledge and quality control

·     Strong experience in managing suppliers both commercially and operationally

·     Capable of networking and influencing purchasing strategy across functions

·     Well organized personally with good communication and interpersonal skills

·     Self-motivated, smart, natural negotiator,ethical, self-starter and a team player

·     Good spoken and written English

·     Familiar with IATF 16949, automotive industry experience preferred

·     Lean manufacturing and lean supply chain management experience preferred

·     Working knowledge of ERP

Education / Experience

·     University degree or above with engineering background preferred.

·     Min 6 years sourcing experiences in an international manufacturing environment
