·       Determines shipping assignments and issues written and/or oral instructions to                        employees

·       Works with Production & Purchasing to ensure product is available to ship

·       Maintains harmony among workers and works to resolve conflict

·       Transmits ASNs using EDI Software as needed

·       Adjusts errors and addresses complaints

·       Maintains shipping files, including labels, BOLs & ASNs

·       Maintains Kanban system in shipping

·       Maintains the EDI system including upgrades and handling problematic situations

·       Performs cycle count

·       Performs Shipping & Receiving duties as needed

·       Performs Shipping Coordinator responsibilities as needed

·       Maintains labeling requirements for current customers, develops labeling for new                    customers, and ensures compliance of special label requirements

·       Supervises logistics as needed

·       Maintains NAFTA (Customer Requirement)

·       Associate’s degree (A.A.) or manufacturing equivalent from two-year College or                      technical school required

·       3-5 years’ manufacturing and shipping/receiving experience required

·       Automotive experience preferred
