Position Summary

Responsible for the financial accounting and reporting of a production company with local and global sales. Responsible for the hands on general ledger booking and the all Indian statutory reporting and monthly group GAAP reporting. Fit to close books ready to be audited according to Indian GAAP and group GAAP. Responsible for Controlling related tasks like entity budgeting and forecasting in close collaboration with the global group controlling team

Main Accountabilities:

-Leads Finalization – start to end process

-       Monitor the periodical closing

-       Audits (Statutory/Tax/Cost/TP/GST…..)

- Responsible for MIS and budgeting

-       Management reporting

-       Budgeting processes

-       Variance analysis and budgetary control

- Leading books concerning financial accounting in local and global ledger with all subledgers.

- Takes care about all compliance requests whether it is based on local law or on group policies in conjunction with the financial reporting of the entity.

- Direct and indirect tax reporting and fulfillment of the local transfer price requests.

- Reports to the local leadership team with the necessary financial reporting aligned from group controlling.

- Supports the local leadership team in finance and controlling matters.

- Main person for contact and coordination with any kind of finance auditors (statutory audit, tax audit, transfer price audit, etc.) and import/export reporting duties.

- Main contact person with the head of legal entity for working capital management.

- Profound finance and controlling knowledge to lead the financial operation of a production company with domestic and international sales and purchases.

- Profound understanding of the finance role and responsibility of a group company that is owned by a foreign investor with all intercompany finance aspects.

- Business acumen and hands on mentality with understanding and dedication to the details.

- Digitalization experience in the end to end processes with high impact to the finance operation.

- Profound knowledge of one of the main ERP systems (SAP preferred).

- Good communication and cross functional collaboration on entity level and on global level.

- Having experience with a shared service finance organization structure, operate with a lean local team and indirect leadership

- Ability to speak and write in English at an advanced level.

- Ability to communicate effectively using excellent written and verbal skills.

- Ability to travel internationally > 5%.  

- Ability to work with the highest levels of integrity and compliance

Education:

-CA with 12-15 years of experience in a multinational Manufacturing organization
