Our production plant in Poland, opened in 2018, supplies millions of high-end clamps, rings and ‘Quick Connectors’ solutions to customers in the vehicle and manufacturing industries. Our team is also partly responsible for the multi-crimp rings product group. These rings are used for cooling, heating and air intake systems in the vehicle powertrain. Strengthen our team in Legnickie Pole (Legnica) at the earliest possible date!

The quality engineer is responsible for overseeing the compliance of procedures and processes in company with respect to IATF16949 / ISO 9001 and ISO14001 Standards. Supervising and implementing local Quality plans to ensure compliance of Products and Processes with Oetiker Group assumptions and customer requirements.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Development, modification and supervision of quality documentation
• Initiating and supervising immediate, corrective and preventive actions in case of internal and external quality problems
• Initiating activities in the area of ​​continuous improvement
• Development of qualitative indicators (regarding internal and external complaints, quality costs, scrap metal, repairs, COPQ)
• Conducting process audits
• Conducting trainings related to Quality
• Maintaining contact with the Customer
• Supervision of the CAQ system

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

• Degree in engineering (BSc/MSc) or similar
• 2 - 4 years experience in Quality Department on similar position in the automotive industry 
• Knowledge of MSA, SPC, FMEA, Control Plan, 8D, Quality Tools
• Fluent oral and written communication skills in English
• Internal auditor licence would be a plus
• Proven skills in effective reporting methods for customers on all levels of organization
• Full awareness and understanding of the role of quality and the environment in business
• High honesty, emotional maturity, self-awareness
• Required travels: max. 5%
