Job Description
Position Summary
Operates and/or maintains multiple machines according to all job and safety procedures
Essential Functions
- Obtains daily jobs from Production Board
- Reads, understands and commits to following all safety procedures when operating the machine
- Completes proper paperwork verifying part numbers and lot numbers
- Completes the Production Downtime Sheets documenting machine issues
- Reads, understands and commits to operating the machine and its functions according to the procedure such as running duds and/or use of gauge
- Keeps machines running with minimal down-time
- Inspects parts through each process to ensure quality
- Enters end of job information into computer daily
- Maintains a clean and organized work area
- Trains machine operators as needed
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic math skills, basic computer skills and excellent attention to detail
Education / Experience
High School diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of 1 years’ light manufacturing experience required
Additional Information
This is a 2nd shift position. Regular hours are 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm. Monday - Friday
