Job Summary-Production Scheduler

• Organizes and monitors production schedules and reports for parts to be manufactured. Utilizes MRP as well as other system reports necessary to make proper decisions.
•  Works with Manufacturing to create finite schedules from the Master schedule and follows up to ensure ship dates are met.
•  Monitors Shop Floor performance and reports data to production supervision.
•  Ensures compliance with all applicable safety and environmental regulations.
•  Uses MRP and process manager to monitor and update the master production schedule necessary to meet customer demands.
• Coordinates the execution of the master production schedule with all cross-functional team members.
• Assists production management in creating actionable solutions when peaks in demand put level loading at risk- includes labor hour and machine hour requirements.
• Prepares information based on current production requirements for use in forecasting and establishing optimal inventory level.
• Create daily shift schedules which will ensure master production plan is met
• Issue Kan Ban cards at each work station to meet the requirements of the master production schedule
