Position Summary

Under supervision, operate machine tools to manufacture parts that meet print specifications. 

Essential Functions 

·   With supervision, measure parts using shop gages and understand the usage and application for each gage.

·  With supervision, start and observe machine operation to detect out-of-tolerance machining.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

· To perform this job successfully, an individual should be able to take and understand directions given, make minor adjustments with assistance, and know when to ask questions when unsure of what to do.

·  An individual may have minimum or basic mechanical aptitude. Minimum or basic understanding of machining methods or principles (mill, lathe, drill, grind)

Education / Experience

· High School Diploma/ GED required.

This is a 2nd shift position. Regular hours are 2:00pm - 10:30 pm. Monday - Friday
