Purpose of the Job

Take ownership of a diverse portfolio of clients while applying your accounting expertise to deliver high-quality financial statements, management accounts and financial reporting. You'll work closely with clients, auditors and colleagues across multiple jurisdictions, building trusted relationships and contributing to an excellent client experience.

This role offers the opportunity to deepen your technical accounting knowledge while developing your leadership and coaching capabilities. You'll review client deliverables, share your expertise with colleagues and support the development of junior team members, while contributing to initiatives that enhance accounting processes and service delivery. It's a great opportunity to combine technical accounting, client exposure and professional growth within a collaborative global environment.

Main Responsibilities

• Take ownership of an allocated portfolio of clients, delivering high-quality accounting and financial reporting services.
• Prepare financial statements, management accounts and related accounting deliverables in accordance with relevant accounting standards.
• Review client accounting deliverables, including bank and investment reconciliations, supporting accuracy and consistency across the portfolio.
• Prepare and review VAT returns and provide accounting guidance across a range of client requirements.
• Build trusted relationships with clients, providing professional support and contributing to a positive client experience.
• Partner with auditors and internal stakeholders to support the delivery of financial statement audits.
• Review accounting work and share technical knowledge with Accountants, Assistant Accountants and Junior Accountants.
• Support the professional development of colleagues through coaching, guidance and knowledge sharing.
• Maintain high-quality working papers, checklists and supporting documentation in line with established standards.
• Contribute to client budgeting and accounting projects that enhance service delivery and operational effectiveness.
• Collaborate with management and colleagues to identify opportunities to enhance accounting processes and ways of working.
• Work with colleagues across jurisdictions to deliver a consistent and high-quality accounting service.

• ACCA, ACA or equivalent professional accounting qualification, or equivalent expertise developed through relevant accounting experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• Experience preparing and reviewing client accounts, financial statements and management accounts within accounting, audit or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, with exposure to UK GAAP or other relevant accounting frameworks considered beneficial.
• Strong technical accounting and financial reporting skills, with a focus on accuracy and quality.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, auditors and colleagues.
• Experience supporting colleagues through coaching, technical guidance and knowledge sharing.
• Strong organisational and analytical skills, with the ability to coordinate a portfolio of accounting activities effectively.
