Job Description
Purpose of the Job
As a Client KYC Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring a seamless, compliant, and efficient client onboarding and review experience. Working closely with onboarding, corporate services, and compliance teams, you will help safeguard the business by delivering high-quality due diligence, supporting regulatory obligations, and maintaining robust client records.

You will have the opportunity to contribute to process enhancements, support regulatory reporting and audit activity, and make a direct impact on the quality and efficiency of the client lifecycle process.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage client onboarding and periodic review activities in line with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and service standards.
- Partner with onboarding, corporate services, and compliance teams to ensure KYC documentation is completed accurately and within agreed timelines.
- Conduct sanctions, PEP, and adverse media screening on clients and associated parties, escalating potential risks where required.
- Maintain accurate client records and data within KYC systems, ensuring information is kept current across all relevant entities.
- Support the business acceptance process by providing timely and accurate KYC findings and due diligence outcomes.
- Assist with CSSF regulatory submissions and other regulatory reporting requirements.
- Respond to internal, external, and ISAE 3402 audit queries, providing supporting documentation and evidence as required.
- Identify opportunities to improve KYC and onboarding processes, contributing to greater efficiency and a positive client experience.
- Manage daily operational KYC workflows and priorities, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery.

Qualifications
- Degree qualification or a relevant professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, ICSA or equivalent).
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in AML/KYC, ideally within the funds industry.
- Experience supporting closed-ended private equity structures.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Strong practical knowledge of client onboarding, customer due diligence, and periodic review processes.
- Understanding of AML/KYC principles and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Experience conducting sanctions, adverse media, and PEP screening.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to assess information accurately and identify potential risks.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Teams.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality work within deadlines.
- Knowledge of Luxembourg AML and regulatory requirements.
- Experience using screening and due diligence tools such as World-Check, Refinitiv, KYC360, or RiskScreen.
- Experience working within fund administration or alternative investment environments.
