Job Description

    Purpose of the Job

    Join Ocorian's Global File Review team and play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality AML/CFT and client due diligence reviews across multiple jurisdictions. This is an excellent opportunity to build your compliance expertise while taking ownership of complex reviews, supporting team performance and contributing to the integrity of Ocorian's client onboarding and monitoring processes. Working closely with colleagues, clients and stakeholders across the business, you'll help ensure regulatory obligations are met, risks are effectively managed and high standards of quality and consistency are maintained.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Lead the day-to-day allocation and coordination of work within the team, supporting the achievement of business objectives and service standards.
    • Conduct and review AML/CFT and CDD assessments, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies and jurisdictional standards.
    • Verify and assess client information and documentation, ensuring accuracy, completeness and appropriate risk evaluation.
    • Support consistency and quality across file reviews by identifying trends, sharing knowledge and assisting with team development initiatives.
    • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to obtain, clarify and validate information required for file review activities.
    • Maintain accurate records, update relevant systems and ensure the integrity and confidentiality of client data at all times.
    • Provide regular updates, reporting and support to management, escalating risks, issues or regulatory concerns where appropriate.
    • Partner with colleagues across Ocorian's global network to resolve compliance queries and contribute to the continuous improvement of review processes.

    Qualifications

    Knowledge, Skills and Experience

    • Degree-qualified, preferably in a business, legal or financial discipline; a relevant professional qualification would be advantageous. Alternatively, HSC holders with significant relevant industry experience will be considered.
    • At least 2 years' experience in financial services, compliance, corporate administration, legal, audit or a related environment, with knowledge of AML/CFT and CDD requirements.
    • Experience coordinating or supporting a team, with the ability to guide colleagues, promote collaboration and contribute to a positive team culture.
    • Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage priorities, make informed decisions and maintain a high level of accuracy.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to engage effectively with clients and colleagues at all levels.
    • Proficient in using technology and business systems, with a proactive, detail-oriented mindset and a commitment to continuous learning and service excellence.
