Job Description

The Didipio mine is located on Luzon Island in the Philippines and is the Company’s only asset that produces both gold and copper. Didipio was built by OceanaGold in 2013 and operates fully as underground mine, with over 800 employees that support the mine.

This role will work closely with the People & Culture team to support day-to-day HR operations across recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance, and training. Playing a key role in ensuring a smooth employee experience while maintaining strong data accuracy and HR processes.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Support end-to-end recruitment and coordinate onboarding, ensuring new employees are effectively inducted
  • Maintain and update HR systems, including SuccessFactors and SmartRecruiters
  • Ensure employee data is accurate, compliant, and well-governed
  • Support HR marketing activities such as careers fairs and social media initiatives
  • Partner with internal teams (Payroll, IT, H&S) to support employee lifecycle processes
  • Assist with general HR administration and processing (including invoices and reporting)

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years’ experience in HR administration or coordination
  • Exposure to recruitment or generalist HR support
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage data accurately
  • Experience with HR systems (SuccessFactors preferred)
  • Solid Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
