Job Description

Seeking a suitably, qualified, and reliable Supervisor - Management System who will be responsible in establishing and implementing a harmonized, systematic, proactive, and effective management systems for the attainment of zero harm to workers, environment, and communities. Responsible also in ensuring Didipio Mine management systems are align with OGC standards and other Company standards that it complies. The role will report to the Superintendent – Management System.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

  • Oversees actual preparation and timely submission of documents, budgets and all necessary information for proposal development
  • Prepares documents, plans, and presentations needed for cascading IMS implementation to ensure understanding and acceptance of strategic objectives and plans are understood
  • Monitors documents and manages records of all pertinent objectives, targets, and initiatives for easy retrieval and reporting
  • Contributes in formulating audit plans and audit resource implications for review by an immediate supervisor
  • Gathers and analyses audit evidence and submits to supervisor for review;
  • Discuss minor issues and findings and makes recommendations on how to address them
  • Develop training materials, presentations, and resources to support training programs, incorporating adult learning principles and interactive techniques
  • Conducts training sessions, workshops, and webinars, utilizing various delivery methods, such as classroom training, e-learning, and blended learning approaches
  • Reviews and analyses data collection process to determine validity and reliability of information
  • Provides timely feedback to staff regarding compliance issues on records management

Qualifications

  • Behaviour consistent with OceanaGold Corp. Values and the OceanaGold Way
  • College graduate
  • With 3 years of experience in ISO 14001 or 45001, management system establishment and implementation work
  • Must have at least 1 year of experience in INX, SharePoint, or Team Binder
  • Must have at least 2 years of management system internal auditing experience
  • With at least 3 years in the mining industry
  • Passed at least one ISO Lead Auditor Training Course of any of ISO 14001 and 45001
  • Awareness of ISO 45001 and 14001 requirements and HSE legal requirements
  • Ability to guide the other departments in the implementation of IMS and HSE requirements
  • With a driver’s license an advantage
  • With good technical writing and communication skills
