Observatory is seeking a best in class Brand Executive to join our team. The Brand Executive is a highly dependable team player willing to assist all team members in their day to day responsibilities and specifically provide ongoing support to the assigned Brand Team. An ability to develop, maintain, and grow relationships with clients and colleagues is key to this role. The duties of the Brand Executive can change from day to day, so an ideal candidate will be able to adapt and grow based on client needs and demands. The ideal candidate will have the ability to multitask, have production experience and be able to offer input on current clients and new business opportunities. Job Description
- Work with the Production, Strategy and Creative Teams to set and communicate timelines and schedule to clients.
- Support and augment the daily duties of the Brand Director and Senior Brand Executives
- Serve as the point contact for daily items related to client management, which may include administrative, and higher-level communication.
- Serve as the point contact for internal teams working together on a client team.
- Ability to manage client budgets, campaign and production costs, billing and payment schedules with support from the production and finance teams.
- Track, follow and monitor entertainment properties and cultural events (film, music, TV, fashion, sports) – with the ability to glean insight and trends for clients and internal teams.
- Compile conference reports for internal teams and clients
Qualifications
- 2-4 years advertising or marketing agency experience or equivalent
- Highly competent in research, ability to define competitor landscapes, industry tracking
- Ability to present and participate in group settings
- Strong working knowledge of Google Mail, Google Calendar, Slack, and Zoom
- Basic knowledge of Mac OS, Google Chrome, MS Office & GSuite productivity tools (Word/Docs, Excel/Sheets, Powerpoint/Slides) and Keynote
Additional Information
- The Observatory team has been working remotely during the pandemic. We re-opened our office on a voluntary basis in June, however when things return to normal this role will work from our Culver City office (with flexibility to work from home)
- Occasional travel, US and Global, might be required after the COVID-19 pandemic is behind us
