Job Description

The Mezzanine team is looking for a Full-Stack Engineer to work on  a number of real-time React applications across the product. This position is located in Los Angeles, CA or Boston, MA.  An ideal candidate would have a strong javascript background and experience working on large single-page React/Redux applications, and be equally passionate about new feature development as they are about automated tests and continuous integration. This role will have the ability to make high-impact contributions to the UI and back-end of a user-facing product with a steady release cycle.

Responsibilities:

  • Build, design and code new features and enhancements for various parts of Mezzanine
  • Create, extend, and maintain real-time multi-user frontend interfaces and applications using tools like React, Redux, TypeScript, Sass, and Electron
  • Write automated tests and improve infrastructure using tools like Docker, Selenium, GitLab CI/CD, and RSpec
  • Participate in all aspects of product development using Agile/Scrum methodology

Qualifications

Basic qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience and a passion for shipping high quality, elegant, tested code
  • Experience developing complex single-page web applications with Javascript and React
  • Knowledge of state management with Redux and how to apply best practices
  • Experience working and developing with the Linux environment at a system level

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Electron, Node, Go, Ruby, Python
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with continuous integration/deployment and automated testing
  • Experience with cloud technologies such as Google Cloud Engine or AWS
  • Experience working and contributing to Open Source projects
