Job Description
Strategic Sales Leadership
Develop and implement annual sales strategies for corporate segment
Identify and prioritize key industry verticals (Financial Services, FMCG, Telecoms, Oil & Gas, etc.)
Set ambitious yet achievable sales targets in alignment with company objectives Corporate Account Management Build and maintain relationships with C-level executives in target organizations
Lead negotiations for high-value contracts and framework agreements
Develop customized solutions for enterprise clients
Monitor account health and implement retention strategies Team Management
Recruit, train, and mentor corporate sales team (Account Managers, Executives).
Conduct weekly sales performance reviews and coaching sessions.
Implement incentive programs to drive team motivation.
Market Intelligence
Analyze industry trends and competitor activities
Gather customer insights to inform product development
Provide regular market feedback to senior management Sales Operations
Oversee sales pipeline management using CRM tools
Ensure accurate sales forecasting and reporting
Collaborate with Marketing for lead generation campaigns Financial Management
Prepare and manage corporate sales budget
Monitor profitability of corporate accounts
Ensure timely collections and credit control
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field.
MBA or relevant postgraduate degree preferred.
8+ years corporate sales experience, with 3+ years in management.
Proven track record selling to large Nigerian corporates.
Experience in [industry-specific e.g., FMCG, ICT, Industrial] sector.
Existing network of corporate decision-makers. Technical Skills:
Expert in complex sales cycles and contract negotiations.
CRM proficiency (Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics).
Financial analysis and pricing strategies.
