Our Client an independent oil and gas operator with head office in Lagos and field operations in Delta and Rivers state is currently looking for Snr. Civil QaQc Engineers on a greenfield project in Delta State

Job Description

Must have experience in transmission line civil engineering experience
Perform and coordinate inspections and determine quality assurance testing models of raw materials and finished products.

Prepare, document, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and defect reports.

Ensures products and service comply with requirements. ... The aim is to filter the products before they reach the client, so that products that do not comply with requirements are discarded.

Develop and determine all standards to perform inspection and tests on all procedures and oversee all testing methods and maintain high standards of quality for all processes.

Review quality of all materials at site and ensure compliance to all project specifications and quality and collaborate with department for all material procurement and maintain quality of materials.

Supervise effective implementation of all test and inspection schedule and ensure adherence to all procedures and coordinate with various teams to perform quality audits on processes.

Promote technical excellence in all our projects
Undertake technical reviews and contribute to the concept design of IPP Combined Cycle
Provide continuous feedback to the IPP Management on the effectiveness of the protocols and processes in place with a view to continuous improvement
Develop positive professional relationship with the IPP Project Management Team communicating openly about project progress. Participate in team meetings, disseminate information within the team, and communicate with other teams
Identify and act on, or refer, potential risk issues and follow in full the company commercial and contracting processes
Manage delegated tasks to ensure that deadlines are met and flag resourcing concerns to team leader. Identify and flag additional resource requirement to the IPP Project Management team
Complete timesheet accurately ahead of weekly deadlines

Qualifications

B.Tech or Equivalent, minimum 10-15 years ‘experience.

Expertise in batching plant, civil lab testing, cube testing.

Knowledge of various concrete grade design mixture, NDTs.

Ability to write quality procedures for cement, sand, Aggregate, water etc
