Job Description
- Take all inbound lodgement calls for Car, Home, Leisure and SBI (Small Business Insurance) claims
- Salvage management together with admin related tasks
- Setting up the claims journey with the client
- Answer and process all emergency calls pertaining to Home and Roadside assistance for Youi
- Laise with Service providers regarding specific emergency assistance required
- Lodge and management of windscreen claims in the most efficient, professional, courteous manner and in the shortest time possible (Turn-Around-Time)
- Payment of invoices of services rendered by Service Providers
- Offering customers exceptional service, empathy and understanding throughout the lodgement process
- Interpreting and making decisions based on basic policy coverage to the situation captured, determining if cover applies to claims submitted, escalating issues as needed.
- Following claims processes for lodgement of claims and setting the client and future Claims Advisor up for the rest of the clients claims journey once the claims is reallocated
Qualifications
Education
- Matric or Grade 12 completion is a minimum requirement
Experience
- General Insurance and Client care experience preferable, but not essential
- Claims knowledge and emergency client service is preferable, but not essential
- Previous Call centre experience will be beneficial.

Shifts and times:
Successful candidates will be required to work the following shifts and times:
- 06:00 am – 18:00 pm (Day shift) / 18:00 pm – 06:00am (Night shift)
- 4 days on, 4 days off
