Job Description
We are looking for a Regional Manager. The individual will need to be strong in developing effective partnerships with a broad range of stakeholders, combined with excellent communication, planning and implementation skills. They will also be responsible for managing and growing an insurance sales force across the Western Cape.

- Drivers Licence
- Own reliable vehicle
- Up to date on RE etc.
- Must have managed a workforce in a Face to Face channel with at least 2 years’ experience

- Delivering on all key-outputs that will be discussed in more detail with you by your Head of Department in terms of business requirements and success including but not limited to:

- You will be required to help with training and onboarding of staff as well as driving sales in the Shoprite/Checkers/Usave branches by visiting the relevant stores and Team Managers. Operational targets will be set for the Shoprite Agency Force which you will need to ensure they meet.
- You will also be required to travel when training is needed in different provinces and may be required to assist with training Shoprite managers too.
- Regular management reporting on the performance of your team at relevant meetings and ensuring follow through on all issues that arise in the process
- Liaising proactively with other operational and support departments in the company including Sales Support, Retention, Claims, Marketing, Actuarial, Human Resources and Training departments among others
- Accepting full responsibility for all allocated work projects. This includes the timeous completion of any accompanying transaction whether by computer or otherwise. Oversee day-to-day operations, to ensure performance targets are met
- Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally

- Lead a team to ensure that the deliverables are met
- Manage relationships with stakeholders (such as Shoprite, Checkers and Usave management)
