Job Description

Role Overview

IT Development Programme (OUTcubator) will be an 18months programme to develop and enhance a particular IT learning path with accredited certification as part of the process. Participants will get exposed to various IT Skillsets, take part in a personal skills development and mentor programme, get to work on real products and work with smart IT people on challenging projects, where there is an opportunity to make a real difference beyond the bottom line.

Programme Structure

  • Months 0 – 2: Complete fundamental learning paths across various disciplines to gain wider knowledge facilitated by team manager
  • Months 2- 4: Enhance on particular learning path
  • Month 6-14: On the job work and experience and completion of relevant certification
  • Months 14-18: Deepening Practical Skills and Career Preparation Efforts (incl. Drafting of Resume and Interview Skills)

Qualifications

  • Matric or equivalent.
  • Must have completed a Diploma or above in IT or related qualifications.

Take note to qualify for an INSETA Internship program you need to:

  • Matric
  • Be a South African citizen
  • Not previously part of an internship/learnership with INSETA
  • Be between the ages of 18 & 35
