The internship is a structured work-based program, affording unemployed graduates work experience in our company. The successful applicants will enter into a 12-month fixed term Internship agreement (not an employment contract) with the company and receive a stipend. 

Job Description

The successful candidate must be self-motivated with a passion for Marketing. This person must be able to function well in a diverse team. The successful candidate must be able to multitask, prioritise and be able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Assist in sourcing clients for testimonial campaigns by calling clients on a list and asking if they want to participate in a TV / digital campaign; discuss the requirements (demographics, vehicles, locations etc.) for the campaigns
  • Assist with uploading all campaign scripts, offlines and onlines on the Compliance Sharepoint platform and coordinating all changes as needed.
  • Assist the Marketing project manager, production manager / creative lead where possible with campaign planning, integrating campaign planning in MSPlanner and Jira.
  • Assist with quality checks on all endboards and alignment with flighting codes if / when needed.
  • Manage campaign inbox and respond to clients as needed.
  • Show ongoing initiative and apply an intuitive/pro-active approach to assisting with production by checking in regularly with the Marketing Coordinator and seeing if there is anything that requires attention or follow up rather than waiting for instructions
  • Stay on top of all ongoing email updates concerning production. Make the first attempt at answering questions in a thorough and helpful way

Qualifications

  • Matric qualification or equivalent qualification
  • A Marketing diploma or Marketing bachelor’s degree

Take note to qualify for an INSETA Internship program you need to:

  • Be a South African citizen
  • Not previously part of an internship/learnership with INSETA
  • Be between the ages of 18 & 35
  • Unemployed in the last 2 months
