Job Description

To facilitate the OUTsurance Funeral product Claims Advisors are needed to provide dedicated, value and customer service orientated assistance to clients that have funeral cover, hence the position of Funeral Claims Advisors emerged.

Competencies and Skills

  • Capture and register Funeral claims on the Summit system
  • Handle all the admin tasks and follow ups concerning new and existing captured claims
  • Administrating Funeral claims
  • Dealing with queries from clients and service providers
  • Liaise with service providers and assessors
  • Conduct all the above to the required performance and quality measures in place
  • Handling all claims in a professional and proficient manner
  • Customer service oriented
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Computer literate
  • Organised, Self-disciplined and self-motivated
  • Dealing with clients in an empathetic way
  • Passionate about dealing with different scenarios and people, in a deadline and results orientated environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Takes ownership and responsibility
  • Excellent administration skills
  • Willing to work on performance based remuneration system

Qualifications

  • Matric  / Grade 12 minimum requirement
  • Computer Literate
  • Previous experience in Funeral Claims is essential
