Job Description

We are looking for an organised training coordinator who understands the business operation and decision-making processes with a keen interest in producing targeted and tangible results. The training coordinator will facilitate the transition of new incumbents to our program and should guide these individuals through our existing structures. To be successful as a training coordinator you must have excellent planning, communication and organising skills with a broad knowledge of Information Technology.

The successful individual would be responsible for, but not limited to the following:

  • Identify and assess the training needs
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and liaise with subject matter experts
  • Review and organise training plans
  • Create training programs and prepare any learning materials needed.
  • Communicate all the training programs on a timely basis
  • Manage curriculum database and training records
  • Effectively manage the training budget.
  • Oversee attendance and course completion
  • Perform needs assessment level and identify skills or knowledge gaps that need to be addressed
  • Review and analyse instructional effectiveness and prepare reports determining the impact of training on graduates skills and how it affects KPIs
  • Conduct surveys to judge how programs are received and if changes are needed.
  • Hosting introductory events geared at meeting your mentees.
  • Positioning the graduates by informing them of the procedural norms and initiatives.
  • Alerting the graduates to potential adjustment-related obstacles and assisting them with suitable resources to help negate these.
  • Scheduling follow-ups to gauge the interns’ progress.
  • Reporting all pressing concerns to stakeholder
  • Book Training venues
  • Ensure venue has all equipment required
  • Oversee in-house training facilities and equipment
  • Adhoc projects

Qualifications

Essential

  • Matric
  • A minimum of 5 years working experience in the IT field
  • IT/HR/Project  Management  qualification/certification or studying towards one
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite at an advanced level
  • Project management skills
  • Knowledge in  IT /Background in  IT
  • Having worked within a team of IT professionals

Advantageous
