Job Description
To develop, implement, monitor, and report all risk and compliance matters to ensure a stable control environment within OUTsurance Business Commercial.
Accountability:
· Ensure compliance to all relevant regulatory compliance policies through the development and
· Implementation of appropriate processes and controls within Outsurance business.
· Communicate to the Commercial Business Units all regulatory compliance requirements in a translated easy and understandable format with the assistance of OUTSURANCE Risk and Compliance.
· Monitor, through analysing the completed risk and compliance effectiveness reviews, management assurance reviews and internal audit reports, and further report on process and control failures.
· Conduct CEA across regions and report on the status of identified gaps
· Report on all regulatory compliance measurements on agreed intervals as required by the business unit i.e. FAIS Fit and Proper (Rep Register, Supervision Statuses, Mandate Letters)
· Ensure the compilation of regional feedback into a national format and address any areas of none
· Compliance by reinforcing existing controls or introduce refined controls.
· Report and present on all risk related activities such as: Risk events/ indicators, Risk Framework
· Implementations in OUTSURANCE Business, control Issues to the various Business Forums
· Source, share and disseminate control and compliance information critical in effective control management
· Direct and provide advice to Business Units on all related compliance and control Requirements and reporting.
· Drive and direct high priority remedial action planning on a Business Unit level.
· Implement appropriate actions, to ensure proper implementation and awareness of processes, procedures and reporting requirements within Business.

Experience Required
(3) Years’ experience in specialization in risk and control environment
(3) Years’ experience in Quality Assurance
At least five (5) years or more experience in financial services environment (Insurance) with solid exposure to controls/process design, operational risk management and/or audit and compliance Environment.
Qualifications
Finance or risk management or an NQF Level 5 equivalent qualification (Not a FAIS role).

Reporting Lines:
The OUTsurance Broker will report directly to the Regional Manager and will work closely with the wider Face to Face channel.
