Document Control Specialist

Job Description

  Duties include:

Ability to read and adhere to project contract requirements with regard to document control.

Maintaining the flow of project files, submittals and receivables

Maintaining a library of 'Master' and 'Superseded' documentation.

Record and revision tracking

Provide historical and audit trail of technical documents.

Controlled distribution of all technical data

Process and maintenance of Request for Information (RFIs)

Protect the accuracy, quality and integrity of Honeywell, customer and all other stakeholder documentation.

Track outstanding items due to Honeywell and vice versa

Ability to read and understand title and revision blocks

Adhere to processes to increase productivity, enforce contractual, legal and ISO rules and regulations

Some lifting may be required (up to 10 pounds).                                             

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: ·       

Three years of Document Control experience in an engineering environment or related field.

Three years of understanding of ISO and Engineering Practices a must.

One year experience with web based collaboration tools

One year experience with File Transfer Protocol (FTP)
