Applications Services Integrator (ASI) delivers full life-cycle systems integration and engineering services to the missions of customers. ASI is chartered to provide technical leadership for many high priority activities, including the GEOINT Visualization System (GVS) project which modernizes IT systems, applications, and services to provide improved GIS-based visualization capabilities and situational awareness to users.

The GVS Systems Integrator provides the engineering and project management required to successfully field new visualization capabilities. Reporting to the GVS Project Lead, the Systems Integrator is accountable for systems engineering, technical integration and baseline management for this critical initiative.

Responsibilities

  • Translate customer needs into project and system requirements
  • Assist in the technical evaluation of new technologies
  • Assists in the translation of architectural concepts into system/segment requirements and interfaces
  • Coordinate interfaces between programs of record and dependent systems and service
  • Engage with internal and external organizations to develop and execute a time-phased epochs for migrating systems to the operational baseline utilizing agile based methodologies
  • Capture and maintain requirements, capabilities, and service baseline documents
  • Lead or participate in technical exchange meetings (TEMs) for managing project execution and resolving enterprise issues
  • Lead the development of engineering products, such as CONOPS, requirements documents, and transition plans
  • Generate Requests for Change (RFCs) as required and leads configuration control board process coordination
  • Lead the identification, tracking, mitigation, and resolution technical risks and issues
  • Produce activity reports as needed to support the project lead

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in CS / Math / Science / Engineering or related technical experience
  • 16+ years of systems engineering, systems integration, or systems development experience
  • 10+ years of related experience with NGA or its IC partners
  • 2+ years technical experience supporting NSG systems, segments and architectures
  • 2+ years of experience in systems integration, project engineering, or software development
  • 1+ years of experience with GIS systems and OGC web standards, such as WMS, WFS, KML
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and present effective technical presentations to senior management; must possess strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Detail oriented, with proven time management and organization skills 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • TS/SCI Clearance (with a current SSBI favorably adjudicated within the last 5 years)

Desired Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience as a systems of systems integrator
  • 1+ years of experience in technical coordination across intelligence agencies
  • 1+ years of experience in agile systems engineering & integration frameworks
  • 1+ years of experience in cloud technology engineering
  • Familiarity with commercial visualization tools, such as ESRI ArcGIS Server and Google Earth Enterprise Server
