Junior Systems Engineer

  • Clearance: Active TS/SCI
  • Location: Chantilly, VA
  • Years of Experience: 2-5

Bring It! (Description):

OGSystems is seeking a Jr Systems Engineers who will be responsible for providing systems engineering support in one or more fundamental areas for one or more domains in various phases of the system life cycle from pre-acquisition through operation and maintenance and system retirement. Candidates must provide technical assistance associated with hardware/software development, integration, test, and deployment of national technical systems in the SIGINT, GEOINT, and Communication domains.

Specific functional areas include:

•Requirements Management
•Configuration Management
•Management Schedule
•Technical Assessment

Qualifications

Own It! (Required Qualifications):

•BS in Science, Engineering, Physics or Math with 2 - 5 years relevant experience
•Current TS/SCI and ability to obtain a polygraph
•An understanding of fundamentals in space collectors, command and control, mission control, and mission processing
•Understanding of core systems engineering disciplines and processes
•Demonstrated understanding of mission user needs and operational environments
•Experience in verification and validation testing to support both functional and security requirements and deployment of new systems
•Experience with lifecycle readiness from System Requirements Review through system decommissioning
•Demonstrated capability and success working in team environments
•Strong oral and written communications to support interaction with government, SETA, FFRDC, external stakeholders, and development contractors
•Customer focused and capable of representing the customer in community forums

Desired Qualifications:

•MS in Science, Engineering, and Math
