Job Description
The Plant Human Resource Generalist will assist the HR Manager with staffing, performance management, employee development, training, and succession planning.
The Plant Human Resource Generalist will:
- Assists in driving a high level of employee engagement and coordinate employee engagement activities.
- Help manage, create, and own all plant training records
- Oversee new hire orientation for all hourly and salary employees
- Assists in providing strategic HR counsel and driving the company’s HR practices.
- Partner with HR Manager for maintaining employee files and record retention (etc.).
The Plant Human Resource Generalist should have:
- Experience using HRIS systems, Payroll and Time and Attendance software programs
- The ability to Communicate well with all levels of employees and management
- The skills to Handle multiple projects and tasks with varying timelines.
- Excellent organizational skills, presentation skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, HR or other relevant degree required
- 3 + years of professional HR experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Union and Labor relations experience highly preferred
- Be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Salary Range: The expected salary range for this position is between $65,000 and $80,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on candidate experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
