Job Description
As a member of the O-I Global Emerging and Collaboration Technologies team, you will be responsible for understanding business needs, communicating those to the technical resources, and validating delivered solutions meet business needs. You will also receive requirements from business stakeholders and convert those requirements into process definitions, use cases, design documents, wireframes, user stories and then management or execution of testing and quality assurance activities and documentation. Your success in this role is determined by end-user satisfaction in the capabilities implemented.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Learn and maintain comprehensive understanding of business functions and related technologies such as .NET applications, web applications, Ektron, SharePoint, Enablon, ServiceNow, and other solutions as needed.
- Collaborate with business partners, product owners, global process teams, and team members to develop and validate business requirements for new functionality or enhancements.
- Assist global process teams to document and maintain business rules related to web applications, Ektron, SharePoint, Enablon, ServiceNow and other solutions as needed
- Drive consistency across platforms by ensuring that the business rules are consistently applied
- Document design specifications, configuration, and testing and training plans; share/validate them with IT and business users for review and sign-off; and oversee completion of same
- Recommend inventive and creative solutions to solve business problems
- Handle multiple project assignments simultaneously, if necessary
- Effectively communicate project and support work related status, including global knowledge sharing with peers and across IT
SCOPE AND IMPACT
The analyst will be responsible for producing global business requirements, resulting in process definitions, use cases, design documents, wireframes, user stories, testing documentation and other documents as necessary. The job will require the individual to gain a solid understanding of the technical team’s capabilities in .NET programming and other related web programming and technologies, and have excellent people and communication skills.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Communications, MIS, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of working in IT, as a liaison between IT and the Business, or in a similar position.
- Prefer 2+ years working with ServiceNow flows, app engine, integration hub, enhancements, and defects or 5+ years administration in a similar SaaS platform
- Strong customer facing and customer service skills is a must

- Ability to review project deliverables for completeness and quality, and compliance with established project standards
- Ability to document and communicate progress against plans, taking corrective action as necessary
- Ability to identify, clarify, and resolve issues and risks, escalating them as needed
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as part of a project team in a cooperative effort
- Self-motivated and self-directed
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities and serve many constituencies

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
The analyst will be expected to interface with business partners, product owners, global process teams, and team members. The position will report to a Global Emerging and Collaboration Technologies Team Lead.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Minimal travel required for this position - less than 15%.
