Job Description

The Finished Product Shift Supervisor will supervise hourly employees in the continuous operation of the plant's production activities with a focus on safety, quality, continuous process improvements, and production efficiencies.

The Finished Product Shift Supervisor will:

  • Monitor job change progress and assist in quality decisions
  • Input key shift performance indicators into production databases
  • Audit for process control and enforce standardized work
  • Ensure that employees are trained and are knowledgeable of department procedures

The Finished Product Shift Supervisor should have:

Experience working in a 24/7 manufacturing facility
Proven ability to coach, motivate, and lead hourly employees
The ability to delegates assignments and monitors responsibilities of work groups
Experience with administrative duties involving time records, production reports, and general correspondence 

Qualifications

MUST BE ABLE TO WORK A ROTATING SCHEDULE

  • High School Degree or equivalent (minimum)
  • College education in related major preferred
  • Experience supervising/leading people and processes in a Manufacturing environment
  • Computer literate w/ proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • Previous experience working in a Union environment highly preferred

Salary Range:  The expected salary range for this position is between $85,000 to $95,000 and includes a possible 12% quarterly incentive bonus. Actual pay will be adjusted based upon candidate experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
