We have created a best-in-class 18 months engineering program designed as a deep dive into the glass industry: during our Graduate Program you will learn everything about our processes, technologies and roles. It will be a very practical experience: you will work and study in our plants, shoulder to shoulder with our best managers and glassmakers, experiencing first-hand the glass manufacturing activities

During this experience you will be assigned to one of our Italian plants: Asti (Piedmont), Origgio (Lombardy), San Polo (Veneto), San Gemini (Umbria) and Aprilia (Latium) will welcome our new colleagues during the Graduate Program, but you will work with Graduate Engineers coming from all over Europe. During our Graduate Program you will be presented with challenging and diverse opportunities while being supported through a structured learning and development program, with access to a variety of on-the-job activities, networking and social activities. For 5 months you will be also part of an international group working on rotation in some of the best O-I plants in Europe

At the end of our Graduate Program you will have developed an in-depth knowledge of our industry and our processes: you will be assigned to one of our Italian plants as a Production Engineer - you will become the leader of a glass production line, an engineer in the mould or maintenance shops, or work as a furnace engineer

Qualifications

  • You have a Master Degree in mechanical, industrial or chemical engineering completed with honours in 2023
  • Your CEFR level for both Italian and English is at least B2
  • You are passionate about manufacturing processes and activities, and you are willing to work in the heat and noise of our factories shop floors, shoulder to shoulder with the best master glassmakers in our company
  • You have a valid work permit for Italy

Additional Information

  • We will hire our new colleagues in October/November 2023; during the last months of 2023 you will be enrolled in our onboarding activities onsite
  • The international Graduate Program activities will start on January 2024
  • The international rotation period will start on March/April 2024
  • You will be hired with a permanent, full-time contract
  • Your base salary will be between 30.000 and 35.000€  (gross annual salary)
  • During the Graduate Program you will be working and studying in our plants; remote working will not be possible
