Job Description

·         Assist design, implement, and document specification for thermal and power management features (exp. active/passive skin cooling, CPU cooling, battery & power supply energy management)

·         Implement and optimize thermal management algorithms to provide system peak performance within system limitations (exp. target acoustics, touch temp, battery reliability limits, etc.

·         Benchmark our algorithms and provide competitive comparisons to various options.

·         Gather data for CPU characterization and studies.

·         Characterize design from thermal and power perspective, calculate limitations for thermal and power, and collaborate with various mechanical, electrical, and software teams on design improvements.

Qualifications

·         BS / MS in CS or EE

·         With over 4+ years of experience in the relevant industry

·         Track record of working in system engineering with both Software and Hardware development

·         Experience in performance tuning
