OVERVIEW:

The Nurse Practitioner (NP), DEA-Registered, will perform in-person physical examinations in patients’ homes or the patients’ place of work.   Would you like to be part of a new healthcare delivery model that will be like no other organization you have worked for?!  We are looking for healthcare professionals who are willing to work per diem / on-call.  If you are able to work 30 minutes a day or up to 24 hours days – then we are interested in speaking with you.

VISIT TYPE 1:

Treating men (ages 21+) who are seeing a decrease in their energy and want to manage their testosterone levels through a combination of lifestyle changes and pharmaceutical products that are prescribed in accordance with AUA-defined protocols. The visits will be pre-scheduled visits and the entire duration of each appointment is expected to be roughly 15-30 minutes; the visits will be performed in the range of 6:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. (can be any day of the week).  You let us know your availability and we will schedule you.

VISIT 2:

Providing care adults age 18+ to our clients in their homes, places of work, nursing homes, travel care and wherever and whenever our clients/patients would like to have to receive the care, while operating 24 x 7.  The care you provide will be to treat those with acute and/or chronic ailments.  An example of care you will provide would be:  Physicals, wound care, IV therapy, etc.

Nursing on Demand is a boutique on-demand nursing service (women-owned). We provide skilled nursing care to adults age 18+ to our clients in their homes, places of work, nursing homes, assisted livings, travel care and wherever and whenever our clients/patients would like to have to receive the care while operating 24 x 7.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Visit the homes of our patients to perform a physical exam and assist with obtaining a blood sample via a fingerstick blood draw.
  • Initiate a telemedicine conversation through our HIPAA-compliant video interface while at the patient’s home.
  • Communicate with our physicians via telemedicine platform.
  • Participate in an initial training session and periodic training calls.
  • Provide outstanding service and care to patients who are seeking treatment for low testosterone.
  • Provide feedback to us to continually improve the patient experience.
  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be a licensed NP in MA.
  • DEA-certified and can provide us with your DEA number.
  • Minimum one year of nursing experience.
  • You are able to see patients in their homes.
  • You have a vehicle and a valid driver’s license.
  • You are highly responsive to emails, at-home visit assignments, and any other communication that comes from us. 
  • You have excellent communication skills with a focus on nurse-patient interaction.
  • You have excellent bedside manner and understand that many of our patients have never had in-home medical care.
  • You are comfortable with technology and video consultations, or you have the desire to learn.
  • You are a self-starter that likes to be part of innovative mission-driven environments.
  • You are intellectually curious and are always striving for improving patient outcomes.
