Company Description

Canning Medical Clinic is a welcoming family medicine practice offering an excellent opportunity within a supportive community setting. The clinic features two fully equipped exam rooms and operates as an NSH turnkey practice, providing physicians with a streamlined transition and reduced administrative burden. The practice is supported by a dedicated Family Practice Nurse who assists with patient care and chronic disease management, helping to foster a collaborative team environment. The clinic uses MedAccess EMR, allowing for efficient workflow, documentation, and continuity of patient care.

Job Description

Canning Medical Clinic is seeking a Family Physician to provide Locum coverage during a period of active recruitment beginning in July 2026.

Locum physicians provide coverage for family practices. Compensation includes a minimum daily income guarantee of $1,200 for family physicians ($600 for half-day), with additional earnings if shadow billings exceed this amount. Travel expenses, including kilometrage, per diems, accommodations (up to $300 per night), and airfare (up to $1,500), are reimbursed, along with travel time up to 10 hours per week. Licensing fees for CPSNS are covered, and locum physicians may claim Facility On Call fees under specific conditions.
